The Perfect Softest Soft-Baked Cookies

Try these chewy cookies. Just do it.

Ingredients

  • 130 g butter, softened
  • 200 g brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • chocolate lentils, chopped chocolate, nuts etc. (I usually make at least two different sorts at once.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Line two baking trays with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the butter, sugar, and egg for about 30 seconds until fluffy.
  3. Add flour, baking powder, and salt; mix for another 30 seconds, then transfer to a bowl.
  4. Fold in the chocolate lentils.
  5. Use two teaspoons to form walnut-sized portions of dough and place them on the trays with some space between each.
  6. Bake for 10–15 minutes, then let them cool on the tray.
