Datteldip (Date Curry Dip)

A creamy, sweet–savory dip made from dates, curry, and garlic
(perfect with vegetable sticks, grilled dishes, or bread).

Ingredients:

  • 150 g dates
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 200 g sour cream or yogurt (or Schmand)
  • 1–2 cloves of garlic
  • 1–2 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp Harissa paste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: a pinch of chili powder

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the dates or give them a quick blend in a food processor.
  2. Add cream cheese, sour cream, garlic, curry powder, and Harissa paste.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy. Season to taste.
  4. Let the dip rest in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving so the flavors can blend.
  5. Serve chilled with vegetable sticks, pita, or grilled dishes.
