Classic Waffles

One of my childhood favourites.

Ingredients

  • 125 g butter
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar or 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs
  • 250 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 250 ml milk
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Cream butter, sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy.
  2. Beat in eggs.
  3. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt; add with milk to the batter until smooth.
  4. Preheat waffle iron and lightly grease.
  5. Bake waffles until golden. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
